The singer made this known in a recent interview that has been circulating online, leaving many fans surprised.
Despite his massive achievements and global recognition, Davido explained that longevity in the music industry comes with pressure, and he is concerned about overstaying his welcome.

He also revealed that he constantly prays for divine guidance to help him recognize the right time to step away.
“My biggest fear is not knowing when to quit music.”
Davido noted that seeing how legendary figures are treated toward the end of their careers influenced his mindset about timing and legacy.
Using football icon Cristiano Ronaldo as an example, he said:
“Look at my good friend Ronaldo after everything he’s done for football, they still laughed at him during the World Cup.”
He added that this is why he continues to pray for wisdom to leave the stage at the right time.
